Muslim Bin Aqeel

He is Muslim Bin Aqeel Bin Abi Talib , he is a cousin of imam Hussein Bin Abi Talib and his messenger to Al-Kufa to convey the message of imam Hussein to the people who asked him to save them from the tyrant Yazeed , imam Hussein said in describing Muslim ( he is my brother , my cousin , my trustee and the prefer one

we will mention some attitudes from his life

First : the assassinating of Ibin Ziyad

One day Shareek Bin Abdullah Al-Harithi and Muslim Bin Aqeel were in the house of Hani Bin Irwa , Shareek became very ill, when Obeidullah Bin Ziyad heard ( ruler of Al-Kufa and one of those who killed imam Hussein ) he sent his messenger to inform him that he will visit him in the house of Hani

Before the coming of Ibin Ziyad , Shareek and Muslim planned to kill him . when ibin Ziyad came in the evening , Muslim hid himself in the room to prepare to kill him but he didn't do that inspite of the corruption & the injustice of Ibin Ziyad in addition to that he is the enemy of imam Hussein and killing him will be important to control on the people in Al-Kufa and disperse his hypocrite leaders and give the leadership for good people

We will mention below the reasons behind refusing to kill Ibin Ziyad by Muslim

First : Hani hated to kill Ibin Ziyad in his house especially that Muslim was his guest and he didn't want to cause social and ethical embarrassment for him

Second : the morality in the relationship with the others even with the enemies whether in the peace or in the war and from the moral principle that Islamic laws call for it is not to be the first one who begin the war but be as a defender in front of God and people

Our prophet Mohammed is a messenger of mercy so he didn't fight any one unless they fight him and imam Hussein did so in Al-Taf war
