The speech of Al-Sayyid Muqtada Al-Sadr on 13/6/2019 about Turkish bombing on Iraqi lands
We condemn severely the terroristic works on the neighbor (Turkey) and we demand the Iraqi government to protect the borders (East, West, North, South) and insure them in order that Iraq shouldn't be a base to attack on the neighbor states nor the contrary
And we condemn the Turkish bombing on Iraqi lands even though it is according to agreements… they are weak and meaningless agreements
The government should work to root the Iraqi sovereignty and cancel all unjust agreements which harm the sovereignty of Iraq and his safety
Either the agreements are just which permit for both parties to bomb the terrorists not the opponents in both states
In the same time, I call the Turkish government to end the file of opponents peacefully and according to systematic dialogue which keep for both parties his safety and freedom of opinion in cultural and logic ways
I also indicate that the region is boiling so there is no need to agitate it through bombing the borders or works which shake the safety
