Message to Iraqi honorable parliament….The speech of Iraqi leader Al-Sayyid Muqtada Al-Sadr in his account in Twitter on 15/2/2022
In the name of Allah
This is my message to Iraqi honorable parliament
Peace, mercy and blessings of Allah be upon you
Having said that
The work of parliament should not be for forming government only or the three presidencies; but the legislative and oversight role of the parliament should be activated for the interests of oppressed people, therefore the parliamentarians especially our dear allies should activate the following
First: Activating the parliament reformative role and activating the investigations and calling those whom there are suspicions of corruption and negligence on them even though through hastening in forming parliamentary committees regardless his racial or sectarian belongingness or his functional degree in the previous governments
Second: Emphasizing on activating the service projects which benefit the people and their dignity, completing the lagging projects as soon as possible with fixed time, and hold answerable the negligent from governmental and civil companies
Third: Hastening in forming the new reformative government with National majority government far from division
Fourth: Activating the oversight role of parliament by firm style which prevents the partisan or politicized judiciary interventions and finally peace
