In the name of Allah , the Beneficent
the Merciful

blessed is He Who made the constellations in the heavens and made therein a lamp and a shining moon ) Surah : AlFurqan ( the Criterion
He it is who made the sun a shining brightness and the moon a light …) Surah :Yunus
In the Holy Quran, God emphasizes that the sun is a shining planet ( self- lighting ) while the other planets are considered dark planets, but they reflect the light of sun , in addition to that the Holy Quran mentions another property for the sun which is the movement( and the sun runs on to a term appointed for it …) Surah YaSin
The modern science discovered that the sun moves in the space and withdraw the planet system with speed 19 mile/ second

The modern science emphasized this idea while it was mentioned in the holy Qur'an ( the miracle of our prophet Mohammed ) since the date of being a messenger of God
