She is a daughter of Imam Ali the trustee of our prophet Mohammed and Fatima the daughter of our prophet and sister of both imam Hassan and Imam Hussein , she was born in 6 A.H. and died in 62 A.H
She had faced many calamities in her life , she witnessed the death of her grandfather , her mother , her father in his mihrab , her brother Imam Hassan by poisoning him and also the great calamity of killing her brother Imam Hussein and all her brothers and two children in Al-Taf war in front of the army of unjust ruler Yazeed Bin Muawia Bin Aby Sufian by supervising of Kufa's ruler Ibn Ziad with leadership of Umer Bin Saad with (30000) soldiers while the followers of Imam Hussein are about (70) and in addition to his family they will be (100
Her role in this war was so great , when Yazeed's army killed Imam Hussein & his followers , they cut their heads , burned their tents and took the women & children as a prisoners of war to Ibn Ziad's palace then to the palace of Yazeed in Al- Sham, she took care of women and children in this long miserable journey and exposed the injustice of Yazeed when he brought the head of Imam Hussein in his palace and also when she returned to her home in Al-Madina Al- Munawara
In spite of these difficulties and woes , she did not neglect her prayer and other Islamic laws . we listed below sections from her speech in the palace of Yazeed when they brought the head of Imam Hussein

We ask God to revenge from those who repressed us and damned them for killing and shedding the blood of my family , my grandfather will be your opponent at doomsday for your crime towards his descendants whereas God will return our right (And recon not those who are killed in Allah's way as dead; nay , they are alive (and) are provided sustenance from their lord; ) Surah : Al-Imran . so what can you do there when God be the judge and our prophet be your opponent
It is too difficult for me to speak with mean and arrogant like you but your injustice which made us your prisoners forced me to stand in front of you to protect the women & children and to expose your crime , our eyes are full of tears and our chest are burning for killing God's party ( Imam Hussein and his followers) by devil's party (Yazeed and his army ) , so conspire against us and do whatever you want , I swear by God you will never omit our biography …… your opinion is wrong , your life is short , your followers will be dispersed …. Allah is sufficient for us and most excellent is the protector )
