Fasting

In the name of Allah , the Beneficent the Merciful
O you who believed fasting is prescribed for you , as it was prescribed for those before you , so that you may guard " against evil ") Surah : Al-Baqarah : The Cow
First : It means leaving the following ten things from dawn till sunset

Drinking &eating
Sexual intercourse
Bringing down sperm
-Staying impure till dawn after sexual intercourse ( they must wash themselves before dawn
Saying lies and ascribe them to Holy Quran , Sunna of our prophet and imams
Immersing the head completely in the water
-Breathing light and coarse dust
Injection with liquid
Forcing the self to vomit

Second :fasting consists of four kinds

Obligatory
Not obligatory
Forbidden
Hateful
Fasting in Ramadan is obligatory
Third :fasting is one among many kinds of worship which is hidden from the others because it is
free of any motion , only God knows it

Forth :the benefits of fasting

One-It makes us remember the hunger and thirst of doomsday

Two-Remind us the hunger and thirst of poor people

Three-Remind us some worldly things which we are unaware to them, they are changeable, the
person sometimes be hungry or be sated , be ill or healthy
Four- It makes the person obtain a strong will power , bearing power , be patient and these things
will make him bear the other hard things

Five- It makes God forgives the previous sins


Six- It purifies the heart and soul
