Arabic Spring and Popular Revolution in Iraq, Statement of Al-sayed Muqtada Al-Sadr 12-3-2016

A lot of politicians are still trying to distort the Iraqi popular revolution from its determined path. They are trying in different ways convert it to political conflict inside the parliament in order to keep their benefits or revenge from those who breakdown ""the third willaia".
The conflict inside and outside parliament affects negatively on the prestige of Iraqi revolution which made inside Iraq by its men and people. Also the division of parliament members without reach to quorum to apply the reforms has negative effect.
Some politicians call for political quota and their benefit only regardless the true demands of people. Other politicians call for reform that coordinates with their vengeful political system.
Therefore, I find from the benefit we should keep the reputation of Iraqi revolution and Islamic Iraqi spring through the forwarding points:
First: continuation in peaceful protests as same as its previous intensity or more to represent as pressing paper on the politicians who love the corruption and sectarian quota and forbidden policy. The protests should be organized and should not be prevented by any political direction otherwise, the revolution will convert to another face. God best known.
Second: striking for formation united popular coalition includes parliamentary members who have national interests exclude those who have sectarian interests in order to lead Iraq to unity and new political process far from quota, sectarianism and technocrat replace the stealers "politicians".
Third: withdrawal of good national parliamentarians from the strike inside parliament and don't participate in political polemic and disable the activity of Al-Ahrrar bloc until the voting session has convened for vote of new technocrat ministers and other governmental positions. Special thanks for their efforts.
Forth: we saw that the embassies of countries didn't intervene in the events of revolution neither negatively nor positively therefore, the protesters shouldn't attack any embassy even by the chants. But in the same time, we call Islamic countries solidarity and United Nations to intervene to save Iraqi people in its adversity and repair governmental process even though by early election that it may be a door to remove the quota and corruption that extend through the government policy extremely.
Fifth: the revolution should be popular for people; and necessary serves should continue in work even is the strike had done at the ministries because some foundation should continue in work for popular interests.
All of that, the Iraqi popular revolution should keep its popular character and don't distort by any defect from the lurking persons.
