In the name of Allah

Remembrance

Allah said: And advise, for advice benefits the believers

Remembrance means advice as in Allah speech:(This is indeed an advice; so whoever wishes may take the path towards his Lord) Also His speech: So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice

So advice benefits the believers in their present life and afterlife equally except the one who refused to hear and close his eye from it, (in order to make it a remembrance for you, and in order that ears that store may remember), it means if someone refused to hear and didn't understand the advice then it didn't and will not benefit him and the following verse applies on him: And who is more unjust than one who, when reminded of the signs of his Lord, turns away from them and forgets what his hands have sent forward? We have put covers on their hearts so as not to understand the Qur'an, and deafness in their ears; and even if you call them to guidance, they will never attain the right path

Hence the recipient should respond with this advice and never turn away from it, maybe he gets benefit from it, it's OK to try otherwise he may regret in the future.It is necessary that the advice be in a good way and suitable to the recipient, each one according to his state, degree, thought and tendencies whereas Allah said in Holy Qur'an: (The secrets of their hearts are well known to Allah; so avoid them and explain to them, and speak to them in eloquent speech) the word eloquent means the clear and significant to leave in the recipient's heart a positive effect not negative one.Therefore, violence, insult and trespassing on the others even it was said with its permissibility but it can't be (eloquent) and has positive effect in most situations, but maybe it is forbidden because it isn't enjoining to the good nor forbidding the wrong but the contrary, it may be enjoining to the wrong and forbidding the good as it isn't hidden. Yes, the society needs to the advice and eloquent effective speech especially the society has turned away from remembering Allah and obeying Him, more of them had run away from remembering instead of running away to Allah as in the honorable verse: (Therefore rush towards Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear herald of warning towards you), running away to Allah means to return to Him through remembrance, obedience and worship, remembrance is introduction to running away to Allah and return to Him by our hearts before our souls, the heart is dispenser of the person which bestows upon the soul with good and blessing and it is center of love and receiving the advice, and those whose hearts are hard will be confirmation to the honorable verse: The ones whose eyes were covered from My remembrance , and who could not bear to hear Truth

Here we mention some confirmations of remembrance and advice

First: The Holy Qur'an whereas Allah said: (O dear prophet Muhammad, a Book has been sent down upon you, therefore may not your heart be disinclined towards it, so that you may give warning with it, and as an advice for the Muslims), it is the clearest confirmation of remembrance provided that the reader should ponder its verses as in the honorable verse: So do they not ponder the Qur'an, or are there locks on some of their hearts

Second: The family of messenger of Allah (peace and blessing of Allah be upon them) as in the honorable verse: (These are the ones whom Allah guided, so follow their guidance; say (O dear Muhammad) " I do not ask from you any fee for the Qur'an; it is nothing but an advice to the entire world) according to my understanding, those the ones whom Allah guided so follow their guidance are the infallibles, peace of Allah be upon all of them

Third: The worship or good deeds and their clearer confirmation are prayer whereas Allah said: (And keep the prayer established at the two ends of the day and in some parts of the night; indeed good deeds wipe out the evil deeds; this is an advice to those who heed it) it may apply on the rest worship as fasting, glorification, spend the night in prayer and others

These are the clearest ideas of remembrance and we will intend to abbreviate but the one who doesn't remember then he was promised in Holy Qur'an (And the one who turned away from My remembrance- for him is a confined existence, and We shall raise him blind on the Day of Resurrection) maybe confined existence means: poverty or epidemic or wars whereas the meaning of confined is: distress and difficulty of living and it has many confirmations, we mentioned some of them and the reader should know other examples whereas what we live from hard life and many trials is due to turning away from remembrance Allah so fear Allah and remember Him maybe you achieve success and gain mercy
