Speech of Al-Sayyid Muqtada Al-Sadr in Friday prayer on 27/1/2023

Excerpts from the speech of the leader Al-Sayyid Muqtada Al-Sadr which was delivered on his behalf in Friday prayers on 4 Rajab Al-Asab 1444 AH - 27 January 2023
In the name of Great Holy Quran
The Swedish prime minister published a post a bout bu.rning the Holy Quran in his country which contained the following
First: Bu.rning the Holy Quran is freedom of expression
Second: Bu.rning the Holy Quran is from democracy basics
Third: Bur.ning the Holy Quran is guaranteed by law
Then he expressed his sympathy with Muslims
As to first: If tres.passing on Muslims’ heavenly laws is from freedom of expression, so why bu.rning your positive laws doesn’t be from freedom of expression
Does the freedom of expression permit tres.passing on the feelings of the others
Why verbal bu.llying is not from freedom of expression
Why bur.ning the g.ays’ flag or their laws doesn’t be from freedom of expression
If you said that you are Christian or atheistic country and we don’t want the Holy Quran then prevent circulating it instead of bu.rning it because there is difference between the two matters, if you did that so you tr.espassed on Muslim’s freedom
What about if the Muslim countries with governmental cover bu.rned the Bible or the Gospel.. Your reply will be
It is muzzle the mouths and against the freedom, the constitution and laws
Second: what we do about your sympathy, instead of your sympathy, hurry to re.strain your security forces who defend those who bu.rn the Holy Quran; know that the verses of Holy Quran include a lot of sympathy with the Christians and it didn’t describe the lovers of peace from all religions by te.rrorism; but the te.rrorist is the one who dest.abilizes the religious stability in the world through b.urning the heavenly Books or cha.llenging the heavenly laws as the g.ays and others
Generally, your deed will cause heaven affli.ction and its signs begin…and Allah does what He wills
