The Attacks Against Religious rites by Some Governments, A statement of AL-Sayed Muqtada Al-Sadr 7-11-2014

In the Name of God
My father said in one his oration in Al-kufa mosque
The best thing for any government is to give its people the freedom in doing their religious rites and reveals their beliefs in form that not causes harm to government. Indeed it will be a benefit for the government and door for loving by people because they will see it a beneficent for them and also has economic benefits for government itself.
By this principle, we heard some governments have prevented some religious rites and Husseini processions without any reason.
So, we call the government to use the principle of freedom of opinion and respect the religious and dogmatic freedom because what they do is related to dogma not to policy. At the same time, we worn the governments that the attacks participators in these rites will be first nucleus that makes people leave the government and will be the starting that breaks its nooks especially in the countries that have religious and dogmatic mosaic. And this attack will activate the dogmatic strictness by some wrong people and they will control a government gratually.
Additionally, the government’s attacks against the rites will give formal cover to the terrorisms to attack the rites too. As what happen to oppressed people of Bahrain, patient Al-Ihsa’a and Nigeria that still lives the violent sectarian conflict and other countries that used to prevent the religious rites and dogmatic freedom especially Ahlulbayt (son of Fatima) doctrine.
So we call these countries to be as father to their people and give them to strengthen the relationship between the government and the people; the government should punish the terrorisms especially in Al-Ihsa’a, Nigeria and the others. The suffering of Iraqi people, Middle East and the entire world is due to hateful intolerance and strictness.
At the same time, we call the faithful people who do the Husseini rites to do them in the moral and organized way in order not to give the government the reason to prevent them. And may Allah accept your works and be merciful toward your martyrs … and peace be upon you[/align].
