O Iraqis, you pleased us…The speech of Muqtada Al-Sayyid Muhammad Al-Sadr on his account on Twitter on 24/1/2020
In the name of Allah
O Iraqis
You pleased us … raised our heads…fulfilled our hope…enraged our enemy, then Allah destined for you a good deed… may Allah rewards you the best reward for Iraq and its people, and I show my regret on those who doubted in me from the demonstrators of ( Al-Tahreer square) and other provinces from those whom I was a support to them after Allah and I thought that they are support to me and to Iraq … and those who supported them from people who write for their personal interests …I will complain them at God Who forgives me and them
But from now on, I will try not to interfere in their affairs neither in negative nor in positive till they observe the destiny of Iraq and what reached to it from danger which snatches it from inside and outside without leniency and mercy
I declare my anger and disownment from each politician tries to delay the progress measurements in forming strong and independent government which has sovereignty, nationality, integrity and qualification that removes the occupation and all external interference from us… whereas they are demanders for authority and money and I'm lover the home and its people, I don't like authority nor I demand money nor I like the present life as I like the martyrdom
O Allah joins us with the righteous from the fathers and grandfathers
