Cancelling of the Demonstration of the Oppressed Global Day and The Freeze of Peace Brigades- A statement of AL-Sayed Muqtada AL-Sadr 8 - 3 - 2015

Although, I am sure in your obedience and commitment in doing the demonstration of millions in the oppressed Global day in each year, and this gives happiness because you are with oppressed, like Al-Sadr family at all time.

But the current circumstance isn't suitable for demonstration in this year because your brothers from Iraqi army, police and volunteer forces are in the war against the shameless terrorism, and for consolation to the families of martyrs, for honoring pure blood of the martyrs, and In order not to be splitting of the unity of Iraq and activating the fire of sectarianism that tear the country as different portions.

This is leading to transfer the demonstration to the places of Friday prayer in each province with commitment of unified slogans which have no any harm to the others.

After the decision of the Iraqi government to concentrate its army to liberate our beloved Mosel and after the negligence of the people of Mosel to liberate it and their submission to the extremes (ISIS)… so I have to order the officer of (Peace Brigades) to coordinate with the Iraqi army and the Iraqi government to finish the freeze of (Peace Brigades) and work to mobilize a national mobilization according to what our God accepts , the religious guide, and the oppressed nation.

Especially that the participation of Peace Brigades will reduce the growing of the sectarianism and the assaulting against Sunnis who are not with (ISIS) (may God curse them)

Especially after the behaviors of some shameless militias which distort the reputation of Islam and the sect.

My brothers Mujahedeen of Peace Brigades, you should be in the condition of freeze (stopping of the military action) until the finishing of some the preparations, and you should not intervene in the political matters, only the civil work, you should not control on any area just liberating it, and God is the grantor of success.

Make your Friday prayer with Supplication for the oppressed in all areas of world not in Iraq only (which is in the top of oppressed list).

Finally, I repeat my claim to prevent American participation in this war because we are able to eliminate ISIS (Daesh) by supporting of God.
