A Message to Diplomatic Missions and Embassies in The Green Zone, Statement of Al-Sayed Muqtada Al-Sadr 8-3-2016

I have heard that all Arabic and international diplomatic missions and embassies fear from the overrunning of people to green zone where they are existent in it. Therefore, it is imperative to me to send a message to them for reassurance and peace except those who occupied our country. Indeed, we never attack our guests.

If people chose to enter the green zone, absolutely, they will not be attacked. But any attack on them, it will be attack on us and we absolutely refuse that. As regard with embassies of occupiers (UK and USA), I had sent the message in my last speech that they must keep the silence or withdraw from the green zone. And if they do any type of the intervention (media, intelligence or military) they will be from corrupts (it is their choice .

not ours. O' Iraqi people all embassies are in your protection except embassies of occupier and wait our decision about them.
after we see their silence or negative intervention. You (people) should take your responsibility to reflect a good and beautiful picture to other people. And I don’t permit for any attack against the embassies (except the occupier) because it is uncivilized and ugly thing. Thanks.
