Peace O Iraq….The speech of Muqtada Al-Sayyid Muhammad Al-Sadr in his account in Twitter on 13/3/2020
In the name of Allah
In the midst of these great trials which pour on the world in general and on Iraqi people in special, it should keep Iraq away from more tensions, struggles and trials, therefore I call to self-control and spread the peace in our beloved Iraq and leave the violence till Allah gives permission according to His speech: (O people who believe! Submit all of you to Allah, and do not follow the footsteps of the devil; indeed he is your open enemy). As to His speech: (Therefore do not be slack, nor call for peace and you have the upper hand; and Allah is with you, and He will not bring your deeds to naught) … We don't call for peace with the occupier but we take into consideration the conditions of Iraqi lofty people that we ask Allah to save it from the occupier and corruptor equally.
I end by His speech: With it, Allah guides whoever obeys the will of Allah to the paths of peace, and takes them out of darkness towards light by His command, and guides them to the straight Path
